who are you?
For as long as I can remember, I've used writing to explore what it means to be human. So, in a way, writing my stories is as much as it is about creating new worlds as it is about... creating me and who I am as a person. I don't think it's possible to separate the art from the artist. No matter the artist, how they see the world bleeds into their creations.
Being non-binary and very gay myself, LGBTQ+ representation is something very near and dear to me. Nearly all of my stories will feature representation of some kind. I think it's important to normalize diversity, so that someday, it's not seen as something bonus but something expected.
what do you write?
Speculative fiction is where I thrive. I like being able to create my own worlds where I'm free to explore different possibilities. Sometimes, I'll take a break from writing existential angst to write fluff. Keyword being sometimes.
I like to mix different genres, together, but you'll usually find me in the science-fiction or fantasy genres. Though, I've also been known to experiment with storytelling, so, the sky isn't the limit. My imagination is the limit. I let chaos decide.
